This time I have decided to make a delicious recipe, some lentils with chorizo and potatoes. This stew with potatoes is ideal to eat on cold days, as it is served very hot. Personally, lentils are one of the legumes that I like the most; they contain more flavor than others, as well as a lot of fiber, which favors intestinal transit. Ingredients to make Lentils with chorizo and potatoes:
- 300 grams of Lentils
- 1 unit of Carrot
- 100 grams of long or green onion
- 4 units of Chorizo
- 2 units of Potatoes
- 2 units of Tomatoes
- 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon of oregano
- 1 teaspoon Cumin
- 1 teaspoon of garlic paste
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pinch of black pepper
- 1 unit of Avocado
- 1 teaspoon fresh coriander
How to make Lentils with Chorizo and Potatoes:
1.Before making the recipe for lentils with chorizo and potatoes, you must prepare the ingredients of the recipe.
2.Remember that you must hydrate the lentils in water for 30 minutes to 1 hour before cooking them.
3.Cook the lentils in a deep pot until they are soft or at the desired doneness.
4.Now we are going to make a base sauce, which will flavor our lentil recipe. Then, you must chop the tomato, the smoked paprika, the long or green onion and grate the carrot. Take these ingredients to a pan over medium heat with a little sunflower oil, salt, pepper and garlic paste to taste. Sauté for a few minutes.
Tip: If you don’t want to use smoked paprika, add normal paprika.
