Ingredients to make Argentinian Lentils…
- 1 can of lentils
- 1 red sausage
- 150 grams of smoked bacon
- 2 medium potatoes
- 1 medium-large onion
- Salt
- Paprika (sweet or spicy, I leave it to taste)
- Condiments (ground chili, parsley, garlic, tarragon)
- Oil
- Water
How to make Argentine Lentils…:
1.We begin, chopping the onion, while the oil is heated in a pot, once hot we place it, always over medium to low heat! so that it does not burn.
2.Cut the chorizo into thin slices and the bacon place them with the onion and stir with a wooden spoon (so it doesn’t stick!).
3.When the water begins to turn color because of the chorizo! we add water to cover the preparation and then salt and the seasonings.
4.In addition to the paprika (to taste, huh!), let it cook for a few minutes and add the diced potatoes and the can of lentils.
5.When the potatoes are cooked al dente, call the guests to eat, but APOCOOO!! enjoy it! accompany…the lentils…with a good wine..
