Recipe of Garlic mushrooms in a frying pan

Garlic mushrooms are easy to prepare, healthy, delicious and have almost no calories! Whether as a light dish or as an appetizer to accompany some beers or even as a side dish for some meat, do not forget to prepare the recipe that I share today. This type of garlic recipes are very popular in the south and now in summer they are seen a lot in beach bars and terraces, you will surely like them!

Ingredients to make Garlic Mushrooms in a pan:

  • 1 kilogram of assorted mushrooms and mushrooms
  • 8 large garlic cloves
  • 1 splash of extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of black peppercorns

How to make Garlic Mushrooms in a pan:

The first step will be to wash and clean all the mushrooms, including the mushrooms from which we will remove the remains of earth. Then we divide everything into more or less homogeneous pieces that allow us to do them all at once.

If it wasn’t possible we would separate the bigger ones from the smaller ones and start by making the bigger pieces and adding the smaller ones later.

Tip: If it is not the season for mushrooms or they are prohibitively expensive, we can throw in frozen or canned mushrooms that are sold in almost all supermarkets. On the other hand, peel the garlic and cut it into not very thin slices.

Put a splash of extra virgin olive oil in a frying pan and when it is hot, add the garlic and begin to sauté. When they begin to be golden, remove and reserve.

In the same pan, cook the mushrooms, previously drained, over high heat, stirring from time to time so they don’t stick.

When they are almost done, add the garlic, salt and coarsely ground black pepper (you can see the pieces). Stir well and keep a few more minutes until the mushrooms are finished. This fantastic dish of garlic mushrooms in a pan is served immediately, you can enjoy it with a little toast or if you are organizing an afternoon of tapas, it is better to combine it with other typical preparations such as ham croquettes, tomato bread and anchovies in vinegar.
