- 1 bay leaf
- 1 splash of olive oil
- 1 pinch of ground black pepper
- 1 pinch of salt

How to make Cazón en adobo in the oven:
- Clean the fish by removing all the skin and bones. Then cut it into slices or fillets.
- Tip: Preferably buy the cut dogfish from the fishmonger. If you can’t get it cut, do it yourself.
- To marinate the fish, place the dogfish in a bowl and add the bay leaves, salt, ground black pepper, garlic, cumin, oregano, powdered sweet paprika and wine vinegar. Coat the dogfish very well with the marinade, being careful not to break the fish slices. Finally, cover the bowl with plastic wrap. Macerate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
- Trick: You must cut the garlic into thin slices.
- Prepare a baking tray and spread a little olive oil on the surface. On the other hand, take the dogfish out of the fridge; remove the garlic and bay leaf. Then, distribute the fish on the tray. Bake the dogfish in marinade for about 10 minutes at 200ºC and check the state of cooking before removing it from the oven.
- Tip: 10 minutes before making the marinated dogfish, preheat the oven to 200 ºC.
- Easy to prepare and exquisite to the palate!
