Recipe of Canapés of Chili Pepper and Salted Anchovies

Ingredients to make Canapés of Chili and Salted Anchovies:

  • Green chilies (6-10 cm)
  • Water
  • Olive oil
  • Coarse salt
  • Anchovies
  • Bread

How to make Canapés of Chili and Salted Anchovies:

Put the chilies in a standard glass jar. Fill well, leaving few gaps. Finish filling with oil and water 60/40% respectively, without reaching the thread. Put in a water bath for 30-40 minutes and let cool. On a slice of bread toasted in a toaster (not fried-no biscotti) place 2 chilies and an anchovy. Sprinkle a little coarse salt on the canapé. Clever. This canapé, being one of the simplest that exist, is one of the ones that I like the most.
