Recipe of black beans with rice and cuttlefish

Ingredients to make black beans with rice and cuttlefish:

  • For 4 people:
  • Half a kilo of black beans
  • 400 grams of clean cuttlefish
  • 2 onions
  • a red bell pepper
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tomato
  • 100 grams of rice
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt

How to make black beans with rice and cuttlefish:

1.Soak the beans the night before.

2.The next day we make a sauce with the garlic, onion, pepper (all cut into small squares).

3.When it starts to brown, add the peeled tomato.

4.Once the sauce is made, we add the cuttlefish cut into squares and sauté it.

5.Add the drained beans from the soaking water, cover with cold water and place over high heat until the water comes to a boil.

6.We lower the heat of the pan and let it boil slowly for two hours.

7.When there are 20 minutes left to finish cooking, add the rice and let the whole thing boil again until the beans and rice are cooked.

8.Season with salt and serve in a hot soup.
