Ingredients to make Summer Salad with Pasta:
- 1 package of cooked pasta
- 2 units of Tomatoes
- 1 unit of Carrot
- Lettuce
- 1 unit of red pepper
- 1 unit of onion
- 1 unit of green pepper
- 3 slices of ham
- 4 slices of Turkey
- 1 small cheese wedge
- 1 jar of pickles in vinegar
- 1 jar of black olives
- 1 jet of olive oil
- 1 dash of apple cider vinegar
- 1 pinch of salt
How to make Summer Pasta Salad:
The quantities of the ingredients are not exact, since each cook can add or reduce the products as he wishes. We start by cooking the pasta. To do this, put a pan with plenty of water on the fire. Add a splash of oil and a pinch of salt.
When it starts to boil, add the paste. If the package says to let the pasta cook for 10 minutes, leave it for 8. When it starts to boil again, lower the heat and let it cook. Once cooked (it must be al dente), drain it, pass it through cold water, drain again and reserve. It’s time to chop the rest of the ingredients. Peel and finely chop the tomatoes, carrot, peppers, onion and pickles. Cut the ham, turkey, cheese and lettuce into squares or thin strips.
Gradually mix the chopped and cut ingredients with the paste. We stir well to ensure that everything is well distributed and does not accumulate at the bottom of the source.
Season with oil, apple cider vinegar and salt to taste. Mix again and reserve the summer salad in the fridge.
When serving the summer salad with pasta, we will use a plating ring. We place it on the plate, add a little salad, decorate with black olives and give a final touch of oil and vinegar.
