Recipe for Puff pastry stuffed with chicken

Puff pastry is a preparation that gives us a lot of play when making different dishes, both savory and sweet. With this easy recipe we will learn to make a savory option, a delicious puff pastry filled with chicken, ideal for breakfast, dinner or serve as an appetizer.

Ingredients to make Chicken Stuffed Puff Pastry Pie:

  • 150 grams of puff pastry
  • 1 unit of Egg
  • ½ chicken breast
  • 100 grams of Mushrooms
  • 80 milliliters of milk cream
  • Sunflower oil
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of pepper

How to make Chicken Stuffed Puff Pastry Pie:

1.Before making this puff pastry recipe, the first step is to get all the ingredients ready.

2.In a pot with water, cook the seasoned chicken breast for approximately 15 minutes.

3.Add the cooked chicken breast to the processor, cut into large pieces, and blend very well.

4.In a pan with hot oil, sauté the mushrooms cut irregularly, until golden brown. Then add the milk cream, mix and cook for 2 minutes over low heat, season with salt and pepper.

5.To continue with the puff pastry filling, add the ground chicken and stir everything until a homogeneous mixture is obtained, rectify flavor with salt and pepper. If we feel that the mixture is too dry, we can add a little more cream.

6.It is time to stretch the puff pastry a little, add flour to prevent it from sticking to the surface. Then cut 6 squares trying to make them the same size.

7.Add a little of the mixture in the center of the dough, paint with your finger or with a brush with beaten egg on the edges and close the dough, securing it very well to prevent the meat pies from opening during baking.

8.Once they are ready, arrange them on a baking tray and brush with beaten egg so they are golden brown, bake at 180ºC for 20 minutes.

9.Once they are ready, serve and enjoy. The chicken-stuffed pastries can be eaten hot or cold, and are ideal as snacks for a family gathering.
