Recipe for pickled sardine pate with Thermo mix

Pickled sardines are used to prepare many dishes and if you have a Thermo mix at home, even better, because not only will you cook wonders but you will also do it in record time and without dirtying anything.

At this article, we help you prepare your party with quick and easy appetizers like this delicious pickled sardine pâté with Thermo mix, because spreadable creams always triumph and if you prepare them at home, choosing the ingredients to use well, the result will still be better.

Ingredients to make pickled sardine pate with Thermo mix:

  • 2 cans of pickled sardines
  • 100 grams of butter
  • 2 tablespoons of Brandy
  • 3 tablespoons of tomato ketchup sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of port
  • 50 grams of onion
  • 3 branches of Parsley (leaves)
  • ½ Lemon
  • 1 pinch of Tabasco sauce
  • 1 pinch Worcestershire Sauce or Perrins Sauce
  • 1 pinch of pepper

How to make pickled sardine pate with Thermo mix:

Before getting started with the preparation of this rich sardine pate you should know that you can use pickled sardines or sardines in oil, in any case, before taking them to the glass you should drain them very well.

Besides, if you prefer not to use butter, you can substitute this ingredient for cream cheese. Now if we go with the preparation so place the butter in the glass of the Thermo mix very clean and program for a minute at speed 2 and with a temperature of 40º.

After this time, add the rest of the ingredients from the list of our homemade pâté and  grind the whole set programming the Thermo mix for 30 seconds at speed 4.

Remember that we only need the leaves of parsley and that of lemon it will be enough to add a few drops of juice. Tabasco sauce is to taste and you can do without it if you decided to use spicy pickled sardines.

Finally, rectify the seasoning if necessary by adding a little more salt, pepper or lemon.  When you have it ready, pour all the sardine pate into a terrine and keep it in the fridge until serving time.
