Recipe for Paella with Meat and Vegetables

  1. 100 grams of pork loin
  2. 100 grams of chicken breast
  3. ½ bell pepper
  4. 2 cloves of garlic
  5. 3 carrots
  6. 1 can of peas
  7. 1 pinch of salt
  8. 2 cups of rice
  9. 4 cups of water (960 milliliters)

How to make Paella with meat and vegetables:

  • Start working with the meat. She then chops the tenderloin and chicken into small squares, more or less a bite, trying to make everything more or less the same size.
  • Now heat a splash of olive oil in a frying pan, or a paella pan if you have one at home. When it is hot, add the garlic together with the carrots, the pepper, the peas and the meat.
  • Add everything and stir to make a sauce. I try to cut the vegetables also into small pieces to taste.
  • When it is almost ready and the meat has changed color, add the rice and stir again so that it mixes well with everything. Wait a couple of minutes and then add water and salt, continue cooking over low heat.
  • If you want you can replace the water with vegetable broth or chicken broth to intensify the flavor of the rice.
  • Tip: Also add food coloring and any other species that you usually add to rice.
  • When the rice is ready and you see that all the liquid has been consumed, remove the paella with chicken from the heat and let it rest. I hope you like it!
  • Tip: If you see that the liquid is consumed but the rice is not yet done, you can add a little more, but make sure it is hot.
