Orange salads cannot be missing from our table and therefore we must make a place for them in our Christmas menus as well. I leave you this time a proposal that is very easy to prepare and with a delicious flavor that will prepare your guests to take the next dish, leaving them with a very good taste in their mouths: my orange salad with supreme.

You can present this supreme salad with orange in a bowl and let everyone serve themselves or distribute it in individual glasses or bowls and serve one to each diner. Let your imagination run wild and surprise your family!

Ingredients to make Squirmy Orange Salad:

  • 1 romaine lettuce
  • 200 grams of feta cheese
  • 8 supreme sticks
  • 1 can of sweet corn
  • 2 large orange
  • 1 handful of sultanas
  • 1 handful of croutons
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 splash of extra virgin olive oil

How to make Squirmy Orange Salad:

We start by cutting and washing the lettuce very well. We centrifuge it and reserve it. If we do not have a centrifuge, we leave it in a drainer to remove as much water as possible. While we peel and cut the orange into cubes. We try not to have too much white part left so that it does not turn bitter. We put it in a large bowl and it doesn’t matter if while we prepare the rest of the ingredients they release juice, it’s better that way because the supreme salad will taste better!

Trick: If the oranges are small put two. I advise you to make them beautiful and juicy so that they have a lot of juice and give a good flavor to the salad. Cut the feta cheese into cubes and add them together with the orange. We break the supreme sticks into pieces and add them to the salad bowl along with the drained corn.

Tip: You can replace the feta cheese with another of your choice.

Add the well-drained lettuce and season with a pinch of salt, a good splash of extra virgin olive oil and half a teaspoon of ground garlic. Mix well but carefully so as not to destroy the cheese or supreme and let the orange salad rest for five to fifteen minutes so that the ingredients take the dressing well. Before serving, put a handful of raisins and a handful of croutons on the surface of the supreme salad with orange so they don’t soften, and that’s it!
