How to make Egg Gratin Onion Soup:
- Pre-listing the ingredients is the first step in making this recipe for onion soup with eggs. To do this, keep in mind that the ideal is to use one onion per diner.
- In a deep pot, add a little olive oil and add the finely chopped onion as shown in the photo when it is hot.
- Once you notice that the onion takes on a caramel tone, add a little garlic paste, salt and black pepper to taste. Ideally, our onions take on a caramel color to be able to make the onion and egg soup.
- Once the onion is ready, add the beef broth and the red wine, let it simmer for 20 minutes, or until the flavor of the gratin onion soup with egg is concentrated. Turn off the broth.
- In clay pots add a little onion in the center of these.
- Ideally, you add each of the eggs in the center of the caramelized onion as seen in the photograph.
- Add a slice of bread on top.
- You can make the recipe for homemade sliced bread yourself if you wish.
