Recipe for homemade stew meat croquettes

Ingredients to make homemade stew meat croquettes:

• 300 grams of cooked meat

• 1 onion

• 25 grams of butter

• 2 tablespoons light olive oil

• 2 tablespoons of flour

• 1 pinch of nutmeg

• 1 pinch of salt

• 150 milliliters of chicken or beef broth

• 250 milliliters of milk

• 2 eggs

• 1 package of breadcrumbs

• 1 splash of oil for frying

How to make homemade stew meat croquettes:

We clean the meat of bones and fat. We chop it all with scissors or we can pass it through a grinder so that the stew croquettes are softer.

Sauté the chopped onion in a large skillet over low heat, with butter and the tablespoons of oil. It should be well done and a little golden.

When the onion is golden, add the meat to the pan. We remove it so that everything comes together and takes on the flavor of the onion. Then, we put the 2-3 tablespoons of flour. We remove well and let it do a little with everything. Add the broth little by little and stir to integrate it well.
