Ingredients to make Chicharron de Calamari’s and tartar cream:
For 4 people
- Half a kilo of medium squid
- Half cup of flour
- Two eggs
- Salt
- Pepper
- Oil
For the cream of tartar
- Chinese onion
- Mayonnaise
- Boiled egg
- Salt
- Pepper
- Seasoning
How to make Chicharron de Calamari and tartar cream:
To make the squids softer, pass them through boiling water. Then cut them into rings, then pass them through the beaten egg and then through the flour previously seasoned with salt and pepper. Now fry them in plenty of hot oil until golden brown, and then drain them. At lunch they will be very good if you accompany them with a Tartar cream. Chop the egg into small squares, or if you can better crumble it. Chop the Chinese onion, mix the egg, the mayonnaise, the onion and season with salt and pepper, and that’s it.
