Quinoa, Lentil and Carrot Soup Recipe

Ingredients to make Quinoa, lentil and carrot soup:

  1. ½ onion unit
  2. 3 units of Carrot
  3. 100 grams of Lentils
  4. 50 grams of Quinoa
  5. 1 pinch of Turmeric
  6. 1 pinch of ground cumin
  7. 1 pinch of salt
  8. 1 pinch of ground black pepper
  9. 2 units of tomato

How to make Quinoa, lentil and carrot soup:

  • We gather all the ingredients to prepare the quinoa, lentils and carrots soup.
  • Cut the onion circularly, also using the greenest part of the stem.
  • We fry the onion together with the carrot, peeled and cut into not too small pieces. Let cook for 4 minutes.
  • Add the grated tomato and let it cook for 3-4 minutes. We put a little salt, ground black pepper, turmeric and ground cumin.
  • Add the drained lentils and stir so that they take on the flavor. Let them cook for 2-3 minutes and add a couple of glasses of water. Let the lentil soup cook for 25 minutes.
  • Add the quinoa that we have previously washed and let it cook for 15 minutes.
  • If you like it spicy, you can serve the quinoa, lentil and carrot soup with a little cayenne or Tabasco pepper.
