Quinoa and Spinach Burgers Recipe

Ingredients to make Quinoa and Spinach Burgers:

  • 1 cup of cooked Quinoa
  • 2 cups of spinach leaves
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 leek
  • ½ teaspoon cumin powder
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of oregano
  • 2 tablespoons of Tahini
  • 5 tablespoons of rolled oats
  • 1 pinch of pepper
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil

How to make Spinach Quinoa Burgers:

  1. To start preparing the quinoa and spinach burgers, the first thing we have to do is chop the onion, garlic and leek.
  2. Heat a frying pan with the oil and fry the onion, garlic and leek until the vegetables begin to brown.
  3. Next, to continue with the preparation of the vegan quinoa burgers, we add the spinach to the pan and sauté until they are ready.
  4. In a bowl, mix the quinoa with the sautéed spinach, tahini, cumin, oregano, salt, pepper and oatmeal.
  5. The oatmeal is used so that the hamburgers do not fall apart later. Can be substituted for breadcrumbs. Stir well and let stand 15 minutes.
  6. We take equal portions of dough and form hamburgers with our hands or with a hamburger mold so that they are more uniform.
  7. Heat another clean pan with a little oil and cook the quinoa and spinach burgers until golden brown on both sides.
