Quick Christmas Rice Recipe

Ingredients to make quick Christmas rice:

  • 3 pounds of cooked rice (1 kg and 300 g)
  • 1 bunch of basil
  • ½ cup milk or cream
  • 1 package of walnuts
  • 1 can of sweet corn or corn
  • 1 pearl onion chopped
  • 1 handful of Parmesan cheese
  • 1 splash of olive oil
  • 1 jet of oil to fry
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of pepper
  • cherry tomatoes to garnish

How to make quick Christmas rice:

  1. In the blender, introduce the basil, a splash of olive oil and the walnuts, blend well and begin to add the cream little by little.
  2. In a separate pan, fry the chopped onion in hot oil. Once golden, add the rice previously cooked in a pot over low heat.
  3. Trick: If you want you can add more ingredients to the Christmas rice, such as green and red pepper.
  4. Swirl the rice to mix it with the fried onion and add the mixture from the blender. Keep moving so that the rice for Christmas with nuts integrates perfectly.
  5. Let the Christmas rice cook for a few minutes so that it gains flavor and add the shredded or whole corn, as you like. Remember that corn is also known as corn, one of the ingredients we use the most for Christmas recipes.
  6. Leave the Christmas rice for one more minute and before turning off the heat add the Parmesan cheese to taste.
