Ingredients to make Spaghetti puttanesca with sauce:
- 250g spaghetti
- 30ml virgin olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves, crushed
- 700g tomato puree
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 3 tablespoons chopped green olives
- 2 tablespoons fresh chopped oregano
- 3 tablespoons chopped capers
- 4 teaspoons chopped anchovies
- 1/4 teaspoon ground chili pepper to taste
How to make Spaghetti alla putanesca with sauce:
- Heat the oil over medium heat and fry the garlic, without turning brown.
- Once the garlic is transparent, add the tomato, parsley, olives, oregano, capers, anchovies and chilli.
- This dish is spicy; therefore the amount of chilli can vary according to personal taste.
- Let the sauce cook for ten minutes.
- Boil the pasta al dente in plenty of salted water.
- Drain and mix with the sauce.
- Serve immediately.
