Pumpkin and Pear Cream Recipe

Ingredients to make Pumpkin and pear cream:

  • 500 grams of pumpkin
  • 2 pears
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 leek
  • 1 tablespoon of oil
  • 2 cups of water (480 milliliters)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pinch of pepper

How to make Pumpkin and Pear Cream:

  • Peel the pumpkin, carrots and pears, cut them together with the leek into not very large pieces.
  • In a pot, heat the oil and put the vegetables and fruit. Cook everything for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Cover all the ingredients with the water, add the salt and a pinch of pepper. Bring the water to a boil, lower the heat a little and cook the pumpkin and pear cream until the carrot is soft.
  • Blend everything with a blender or in a blender until it forms a smooth cream without chunks. Add more water if you like your creams not so thick.
  • Serve the pumpkin and pear cream with croutons and a green salad.
