  • 1 pinch of sugar
  • Basil
  • 225 grams of Carrots
  • 1 onion
  • 3 fresh tomatoes

How to make pumpkin and carrot soup with Thermomix:

  1. The first thing you should do to start preparing the pumpkin soup with the Thermomix is to crush the onion by inserting it peeled into the bowl of the machine and programming it for 5 seconds at speed 5.
  2. Then, add the butter and heat the preparation for 3 minutes at a temperature of 80ºC and speed 1. After this time, add the peeled and chopped pumpkin, the peeled carrots and the basil to taste. Program the Thermomix for 20 seconds at speed 4 to crush the ingredients
  3. Once everything has been crushed, add the vegetable broth and cook the pumpkin and carrot soup with the Thermomix for 10 minutes at a temperature of 98ºC.
  4. After the indicated time, add the remaining ingredients and cook the vegetable soup for 1 more minute. Then, program the Thermomix for 7 seconds at speed 8 with the intention of grinding the food and offering a smooth dish without lumps.
  5. Serve the pumpkin and carrot soup with a hot Thermomix to help regulate body temperature and combat the cold. As you can see, it is a very complete dish at a nutritional level and, above all, delicious, since it offers a complete contrast of flavors and aromas. If you want to know another equally tasty recipe but with different ingredients, don’t miss the minestrone soup with Thermomix.
