Pumpkin and bacon cream recipe

Ingredients to make Pumpkin and Bacon Cream:

  • for 4 people
  • 6 small spring onions
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 3 slices of bacon (for each diner)
  • 1 1/2 kilos of pumpkin
  • Water
  • Salt to taste)
  • Oil

How to make Pumpkin and Bacon Cream:

  1. Put 4 spring onions and the pumpkin cut into pieces in an express pot, add water to cover and salt to taste.
  2. Let it cook for 20 or 25 minutes. In a frying pan, fry the remaining spring onions, the bacon and the red pepper.
  3. When everything is fried, it will be incorporated into the express pot and with the blender it will be beaten a little until there is a thick cream.
  4. Note: the water from cooking the pumpkin is separated before grinding the cream and reserved in case it gets too thick and you need to add a little.
