Puff pastry tart recipe with mushrooms

The cultivated mushroom can be purchased throughout the year, but the wild mushroom grows in the fall. Its culinary uses are multiple since it goes perfectly with foods such as meat, rice, pasta and, of course, with other vegetables. That’s why this time I share this recipe for puff pastry tarts with mushrooms and cured cheese to suck your fingers. A delicious starter that more than one will love.

Ingredients to make puff pastry tart with mushrooms:

• ½ kilogram of mushrooms

• 1 spring onion

• 200 milliliters of liquid cream or milk cream

• 50 milliliters of oil

• 1 sheet of puff pastry

• 50 grams of cured cheese cut into slices

• Chive stalks

• ½ teaspoon of salt

• 1 pinch of ground black pepper

How to make Mushroom Puff Pastry Tart:

The first thing we do to make this puff pastry tart with mushrooms is wash the mushrooms well under the tap to remove the dirt. Remove the foot, cut it into slices and place them on a greased griddle over the heat until they are golden brown and lose their water.

In a frying pan, heat the oil, peel and cut the onion into slices and poach it. Add the mushrooms and cream and cook for about 10 minutes. After this time, grind the puff pastry mixture with mushrooms and cheese in a blender and set aside.

We preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Roll out the puff pastry and cut it with a 14-centimeter round cookie cutter (or whatever size you want).

On a tray covered with parchment paper, place the puff pastry disks and prick them so they don’t rise too much and bake the mushroom puff pastry for 15 minutes.

We place the cooked puff pastry discs in the center of the plate where we are going to serve them, cover with the mushrooms, on top of the slices of cheese and chopped chives. And we already have the puff pastry tarts with mushrooms and cheese ready.
