Provencal style potatoes recipe

In this recipe we bring a very popular garnish, in which we will use a mixture of fresh parsley and garlic paste that will give it an exquisite touch and flavor. In most states, this preparation is recognized as “Provencal”, and we can use it to cook multiple foods, such as chicken, fish or, as we show you here, potatoes. Keep reading this recipe and discover the steps to cook Provencal potatoes, you’ll love them!

Ingredients to make Provencal potatoes:

  • 6 units of potatoes peeled and cut into medium cubes
  • 1 tablespoon of Ghee
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh parsley
  • 1 pinch of garlic paste
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of Pepper

How to make Provencal Potatoes:

  1. Our first step to make the potato recipe is to prepare the ingredients. Cook the potatoes and reserve them for later.
  2. Bring a skillet to medium heat and add the ghee or clarified butter. You can also use regular butter if you don’t have this type.
  3. Add the cooked potatoes to the pan where we have the butter and let them brown.
  4. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Once you see that our potatoes take on a golden color, it means that they are crunchy from the butter, add the garlic paste and finely chopped parsley.
  6. Mix all the ingredients very well so that they are well distributed in our recipe.
  7. Serve the Provençal potatoes hot as a side to any protein, such as lemon chicken, grilled salmon, or steamed quinoa.
  8. Ideally, they should be crispy, a touch provided by the clarified butter.
