Ingredients to make Prickly pear water:

  1. 5 pieces of white or green tuna
  2. 125 grams of sugar (or amount of sweetener needed)
  3. 2 lemons
  4. 1½ liters of water
  5. ice to taste

How to make Prickly Pear Water:

  • It is very easy and quick to prepare a succulent tuna water. To do this, as a first step, remove the skin from the tuna by making two cuts on the edges, then a cross cut and peeling the fruit very carefully so as not to hurt yourself with the thorns.
  • When you have all the tunas peeled, cut them into medium pieces to make blending easier.
  • Place the pieces of tuna in the blender, add the sugar, the juice of two lemons and half a liter of water. Blend for a few minutes.
  • Trick: lemon is optional, you can also add cucumber, some other fruit or seed like chia. You can also substitute sugar for some sweetener.
  • Pass the mixture through a strainer to remove the seeds from the tuna. Add the remaining liter of water and mix.
  • You already have your tuna water with lemon ready, now just add a little ice to taste and enjoy this refreshing drink. You can also add some mint leaves if you want to add an even more refreshing touch.
