Potatoes in green sauce recipe

  • 1 kilogram of potatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 4 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 200 milliliters of white wine
  • 1 tablespoon of flour
  • 1 liter of vegetable broth
  • 1 handful of chopped fresh parsley
  • 100 grams of frozen peas
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of freshly ground black pepper

How to make Potatoes in Green Sauce:

Peel the onion and garlic cloves and chop them. Peel the potatoes, dry them and cut them into large slices. Put the olive oil in a large frying pan on the heat. Sauté the onion and garlic in it. Add the white wine and let it evaporate for a minute over low heat. Add the flour, stir and cook for another minute.

Tip: If you want to make a gluten-free stew, add cornmeal instead of regular wheat.
