Ingredients to make Potatoes a la llanda:
- 8 potatoes
- 1 head of garlic
- olive oil
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pinch of Pepper
How to make Potatoes a la llanda:
- The first thing we have to do to make these potatoes a la llanda is to preheat the oven to 200º C.
- We also have to wash the potatoes well, cut them in half lengthwise and season them without peeling them.
- Make sure that the potatoes are approximately the same size so that they take the same time to cook in the oven, otherwise when some are done the others will still be raw.
- Next, pour a good jet of oil on a baking tray until it is completely covered and a little more, and place the potatoes face up.
- Bake them for 20 to 25 minutes, depending on the power of your oven, or until the bottom is golden brown.
- Also, crumble the head of garlic and wash all the cloves well without peeling them, but make a cut on the back without cutting them in half.
- Once the baked potatoes are well browned underneath, turn them over and place them face down on the pan.
- Bake them for another 15 minutes and then add the garlic sprinkles to finish cooking along with the roasted potatoes.
- After another 10-15 minutes, check that the patatas a la llanda are also golden on top, and that’s it!
- You can accompany them with a homemade aioli or a mayonnaise sauce if you feel like it, or simply eat the baked potatoes as they are.
