  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 pinch of thyme

How to make Potato Soup:

  1. The first step to make our potato soup recipe is to pre-list the ingredients. If you opt for the broth, keep in mind that you can use the one you like best, vegetable broth, chicken broth, beef broth…
  2. Peel the potatoes and cut them into small squares. Then, take a pot over medium heat and cook the potatoes until they are soft.
  3. Meanwhile, take another pot over medium heat and add a teaspoon of sunflower oil, add the white onion in small squares and the pepper or paprika in squares. She makes a sauce with salt and black pepper
  4. Remove the potatoes when they are cooked and reserve them in a bowl as seen in the photograph.
  5. Add the cooked potatoes to the sauce pot, add salt, black pepper and if you want a little garlic paste to taste.
  6. Cover the potato soup with the broth or water (either ingredient is fine) and let it simmer for another 10 minutes to allow the flavors to concentrate. Add bay leaf and thyme to give an extra flavor and touch to our recipe.
  7. Turn off the heat of the potato soup and serve it very hot. Sprinkle some fresh parsley on top and accompany it with white rice or grilled chicken. This dish is ideal for winter days.
