Today, there are many gluten-free pizza alternatives for all those who are intolerant or allergic. This potato pizza recipe is one of them; it is an easy and very versatile preparation with which you can prepare a pizza to your liking with the ingredients you have at home.

Ingredients to make Potato Pizza:
- 1 large potato
- 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan
- 125 grams of fried tomato
- 200 grams of laminated mushrooms
- 1 ball of Mozzarella
- 1 egg L
- 2 slices of Serrano ham
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano (optional)
How to make Potato Pizza:
- Before starting with the potato pizza base, preheat the oven to 200ºC. Peel and wash the potato. Cut into thin slices, preferably with a mandolin. If you cut it with a knife, you may need a bit more potato.
- Line a round pizza tray with parchment paper. Put the potato slices on the tray. Start in the center and finish at the ends of the tray, slightly overlapping one on top of the other all around.
- Sprinkle the entire surface with the tablespoons of grated Parmesan. Bake for seven minutes at 200ºC with heat up and down so that the pizza base is compacted.
- Take the potato pizza out of the oven and spread the fried tomato all over the surface.
- Put the sliced mushrooms on top. Add a little salt on top.
- Laminate the mozzarella ball and spread over the pizza. Sprinkle with a little dried oregano if you like, you can also make a potato and rosemary pizza. Crack the egg in the center of the potato pizza and bake for 12 more minutes at 200ºC with heat above and below.
- Take the potato and egg pizza out of the oven, chop the Serrano ham slices and spread over the pizza.
- Serve the Italian potato pizza right away to eat it hot.
