Potato gnocchi recipe

Ingredients to make potato gnocchi:

  • oil
  • 400 ml of water
  • 200 grams of minced meat
  • 1 onion
  • 50cc of cognac
  • 200 grams of flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 sprig of parsley
  • 500 grams of mashed potatoes
  • 30 grams of grated cheese
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 kilo of tomato
  • 400 ml of water

How to make potato gnocchi:

  • Chop the onion in a little oil, add minced meat, brown it, and pour in the cognac.
  • Let it cook a little bit, add the grated tomatoes and add salt, pepper and sugar, cook it for a few minutes, remove it.
  • Make the puree with the water and a little salt, pepper and sugar.
  • Mix the beaten egg and lukewarm water with just enough to get smooth dough.
  • Work it a little and let it rest for half an hour.
  • With the paste, it is cut into small pieces, shaping it with a fork.
  • Boil the gnocchi with plenty of water and salt for a few minutes.
  • When they are cooked, drain them, spread the grated cheese and cover with the sauce.
