Ingredients to make Potato Pie with Ham:

  • 5 units of large potatoes
  • 20 grams of brie cheese
  • 30 grams of Parmesan cheese
  • 4 slices of Ham
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 glass of milk
  • 1 pinch of Nutmeg
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of black pepper
  • 120 grams of leek

How to make Potato Pie with Ham:

  1. Our first step to make the potato cake is to prepare the ingredients.
  2. Peel the potatoes and cut them into medium squares, take them to a deep pot, pour water until they are completely covered and cook them until they are soft. Remove the potatoes from the heat when they are ready.
  3. Bring a frying pan to medium heat, add a little oil and fry the chopped leek.
  4. While we fry the onion, take the hot and drained potatoes to a bowl and add the nutmeg, salt, pepper, milk and butter. Make a puree with these ingredients.
  5. Add the ham cut into small squares to the pan and fry for a few minutes along with the leek. Put out the fire.
  6. Mix the mashed potatoes with the leek and ham. Then add the brie so it melts into the puree and becomes creamy.
  7. Take the potato cake to a refractory and preheat the oven to medium temperature.
  8. Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese on top and bake the potato cake until the cheese melts.
  9. Serve the potato and cheese cake sprinkling a little parsley on top to decorate.
