The potato and serrano ham pie that I am sharing this time is a baked version of the traditional potato omelet that is very easy to prepare and tremendously rich and juicy, you cannot miss it!
Ingredients to make Potato and Serrano Ham Pie:
- 2 large potatoes
- 1 small onion
- 150 grams of serrano ham
- 200 grams of brie cheese
- 4 eggs
- Salt
- Pepper
- 100 milliliters of extra virgin olive oil
How to make Potato and serrano ham pie:
- We start by peeling and cutting the onion in julienne strips, and fry it in a pan with the olive oil when it is hot.
- While the onion is cooking, peel the potatoes and cut them into slices about 2 or 3 centimeters thick that we add to the same pan and stir from time to time.
- Cook until they are done but not too soft.
- Remove the onion and potatoes from the pan; put them in a colander to release excess oil and reserve.
- Meanwhile, cut the Serrano ham into cubes and beat the eggs.
- Place the drained potatoes and onion in a large bowl, add the ham and eggs and season with salt and pepper to your liking. We mix well
- Chop the cheese into pieces and add it, mix carefully and pour the potato and onion pie into a pan suitable for the oven.
- Place the potato and ham pie in the oven preheated to 180 ºC and bake for 35-40 minutes or until our pie is set. Bon Appetite!
