Potato and serrano ham pie recipe

The potato and serrano ham pie that I am sharing this time is a baked version of the traditional potato omelet that is very easy to prepare and tremendously rich and juicy, you cannot miss it!

Ingredients to make Potato and Serrano Ham Pie:

  • 2 large potatoes
  • 1 small onion
  • 150 grams of serrano ham
  • 200 grams of brie cheese
  • 4 eggs
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 100 milliliters of extra virgin olive oil

How to make Potato and serrano ham pie:

  1. We start by peeling and cutting the onion in julienne strips, and fry it in a pan with the olive oil when it is hot.
  2. While the onion is cooking, peel the potatoes and cut them into slices about 2 or 3 centimeters thick that we add to the same pan and stir from time to time.
  3. Cook until they are done but not too soft.
  4. Remove the onion and potatoes from the pan; put them in a colander to release excess oil and reserve.
  5. Meanwhile, cut the Serrano ham into cubes and beat the eggs.
  6. Place the drained potatoes and onion in a large bowl, add the ham and eggs and season with salt and pepper to your liking. We mix well
  7. Chop the cheese into pieces and add it, mix carefully and pour the potato and onion pie into a pan suitable for the oven.
  8. Place the potato and ham pie in the oven preheated to 180 ºC and bake for 35-40 minutes or until our pie is set. Bon Appetite!
