Pork Tinga Tostadas Recipe

Within the celebrations, regardless of the occasion, you cannot miss the tinga toast. For this reason, this time we are going to prepare pork tinga tostadas. In addition, they are ideal for the month of September, considered by all Mexicans as the national month.

Ingredients to make Pork Tinga Tostadas:

  • 1 kilogram of shredded pork meat
  • 1 kilogram of tomato
  • 500 grams of onion
  • 1 can of chipotle peppers
  • 6 garlic cloves
  • 6 units of fat peppers
  • 1 jet of oil
  • 100 grams of salt
  • At your service
  • 1 piece of lettuce
  • 500 cups of cow cream
  • 500 grams of grated cheese
  • 1 cup of green or red sauce
  • 1 cup of refried beans
  • 1 package of toasted tortillas

How to make Pork Tinga Tostadas:

1.We ready all the ingredients to be able to make the Mexican tostadas. Then, we wash the tomatoes, clean the garlic and onion.

2.To make the pork tinga tostadas, we slice the tomato and onion. Chop the garlic very fine. We wash and disinfect the lettuce, let it drain and proceed to slice it.

Trick: To give us the time while the tinga is seasoning we can prepare the lettuce and make the sauces.

3.In a frying pan, pour about 2 or 3 tablespoons of oil. Let it heat up and add the garlic until it changes color.

4.Then we add the onion, and when it begins to change color we add the tomato. Let everything cook for 10 minutes, and then add the meat.

5.Then we add the chipotle pepper and a little of the broth that comes in the peppers.

Tip: The chipotle chili is to taste, if we like it to predominate and be spicy we add more.

6.Season with pepper and salt to taste. We add a splash of water or broth if we have. Cover to cook over low heat. From time to time we move so that our tinga does not stick.

Tip: For a better flavor, it will be at its point when the tomato skins are barely noticeable.

7.To assemble the toast, first we put a layer of refried beans.

8.Right away we are going to put a layer of the pork tinga. Spreading it very well over the beans.

9.Now we add the sliced ​​lettuce, cream and cheese and the sauce of our choice.

10.And enjoy our tasty pork tinga tostada, accompanied by a fresh fruit water, such as passion fruit water.
