Pork Tenderloin Salad Recipe

As we have carefully observed your comments, we realize that you ask us a lot for recipes with any type of protein but that are low in calories and to be able to lose weight. Well, this time we bring another salad with meat, specifically pork tenderloin, and accompanied with some vegetables that are of your choice. Let’s see the step by step that we show you and learn how to prepare this delicious pork tenderloin salad.

Ingredients to make Pork Tenderloin Salad:

  • 1 unit of Romaine lettuce
  • 1 unit of Avocado or large avocado
  • 250 grams of peas or peas
  • 1 unit of large white onion
  • 500 grams of pork tenderloin
  • 20 grams of sesame or sesame seeds
  • 250 grams of beans or cooked beans
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of black pepper

How to make Pork Tenderloin Salad:

The first step to make the salad recipe is to pre-list the ingredients. You must cut the tenderloin into medium squares. Bring a pan to medium heat with a little olive oil, once hot add the squared pork tenderloin and cook it. Add salt, black pepper and a little garlic paste  to taste so that it adds a little flavor to our recipe.

Once the meat is fried, add the previously cooked peas and beans; Let it fry for a few more minutes and turn off the heat. Remove the meat with the vegetables to a plate and reserve them while we make the rest of the salad to lose weight.

Take the romaine lettuce to a bowl with enough water to cover it, add the juice of a lemon or a little vinegar so that we can disinfect the lettuce. Let stand for 5-10 minutes. Remove the lettuce from the water and let it drain very well. Add a little of the lettuce to the bottom of a plate where we are going to serve our salad with sirloin. Add the meat with the sautéed vegetables on top of the lettuce that we added to the bottom of the plate, if you wish you can consume this salad cold or hot that already depends on the diner. Add the avocado or avocado in squares as seen in the photograph. Mix very well with all the ingredients. Add the diced white onion and mix all the ingredients well. Serve our somolillo salad adding a little sesame or sesame sprinkled on top of our ingredients. If you wish, as I mentioned at the beginning of the recipe, you can add more ingredients to your liking such as tomato hulls or cherry tomatoes, diced cucumber or any vegetable you want.
