Ingredients to make Pork Loin in Yogurt Sauce:

  • 1 kilogram of pork loin
  • 1 bunch of mint
  • 50 grams of Peanut
  • 1 unit of white onion
  • 1 teaspoon of oregano
  • 1 pinch of Paprika
  • 1 pinch of garlic paste
  • 250 grams of Noodles
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of black pepper
  • 300 milliliters of Greek or natural yogurt
  • 1 glass of white wine

How to make Pork Loin in Yogurt Sauce:

  1. The first step to make the loin in sauce recipe is to prepare the ingredients. You can use both Greek and natural yogurt, either option is fine, although I personally recommend Greek as it contains more protein.
  2. First, we are going to marinate the tender loin. To do this, cut the pork loin into medium squares, add the mint, paprika, oregano, black pepper and garlic paste. Mix the ingredients well.
  3. Cook the noodles in hot water until they are at the desired cooking point. Follow package directions for amount of water, heat temperature, and time.
  4. Bring a frying pan over medium heat with the olive oil, add the white onion in feathers with salt and black pepper, and sauté until it becomes transparent.
  5. Add the diced pork loin with the mint and sauté it along with the onion.
  6. Add the white wine and let it keep for five more minutes so that the alcohol evaporates. The wine will give a very special touch to the preparation, so I recommend using it.
  7. Add the yogurt to the preparation, lower the heat to a minimum and let it keep for 10 more minutes so that the loin is finished cooking and is impregnated with the flavor of the yogurt.
  8. Turn off the heat and add the finely chopped peanuts to give our recipe a crunchy and exquisite touch. This ingredient is not mandatory, but I comment it will provide an extra flavor and texture.
  9. Serve the loin in yogurt sauce accompanied by the noodles and decorated with some mint leaves on top. This recipe is really exquisite, since the mixture of yogurt and mint give a refreshing touch to the meat. If you like intense flavors, prepare a lemon dessert to finish your menu.
