Ingredients to make PORK GOULASH:
- 750g lean pork
- 1 tablespoon of oil
- 80g chopped bacon
- 1 sliced onion
- 1 carrot cut into strips
- 150ml tomato juice
- 200 ml of meat broth
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 2 bay leaves
- Salt
- black pepper
- 60 ml of lager
- 120g julienned cabbage
- 2 potatoes peeled and cut into cubes
How to make PORK GOULASH:
- Cut the meat into cubes and brown it over medium heat in the tablespoon of oil.
- Remove and reserve.
- In the same oil, sauté the bacon, along with the onion and carrot for ten minutes. Add the juice, broth, paprika, bay leaf, beer, salt, pepper and pork.
- Cover and cook for an hour over medium low heat. After this time, add the cabbage and potato and leave for another 30 minutes or until the potato is tender.
- Serve in a bowl and accompany with toasted bread with garlic and oil.
