PORK GOULASH Recipe

Ingredients to make PORK GOULASH:

  • 750g lean pork
  • 1 tablespoon of oil
  • 80g chopped bacon
  • 1 sliced ​​onion
  • 1 carrot cut into strips
  • 150ml tomato juice
  • 200 ml of meat broth
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 bay leaves
  • Salt
  • black pepper
  • 60 ml of lager
  • 120g julienned cabbage
  • 2 potatoes peeled and cut into cubes

How to make PORK GOULASH:

  1. Cut the meat into cubes and brown it over medium heat in the tablespoon of oil.
  2. Remove and reserve.
  3. In the same oil, sauté the bacon, along with the onion and carrot for ten minutes. Add the juice, broth, paprika, bay leaf, beer, salt, pepper and pork.
  4. Cover and cook for an hour over medium low heat. After this time, add the cabbage and potato and leave for another 30 minutes or until the potato is tender.
  5. Serve in a bowl and accompany with toasted bread with garlic and oil.
