Ingredients to make Polenta with cheese:
- 200 grams of polenta
- 1 cup of Milk (240 milliliters)
- 1 cup chicken or vegetable broth
- 80 grams of mozzarella cheese
- 1 pinch of garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon of milk cream
- 1 pinch of black pepper
- 1 pinch of salt
How to make Polenta with Cheese:
- The first step to make our polenta recipe is to prepare the ingredients.
- In a deep pot we add the milk, the chicken broth and we bring this to medium heat. Remember that to make the polenta with cheese you can also use vegetable broth.
- Add salt, pepper and a little garlic paste to give a little flavor.
- Once it starts to boil, add the polenta with a wooden spoon, reduce the intensity of the heat and let it cook for about 4 to 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
- The ideal is to obtain a thick mixture as seen in the photograph. When you get the desired consistency, remove from the heat and add the milk cream.
- Next, take the polenta to a refractory previously greased with oil or butter.
- Next, add the grated mozzarella cheese on top and take the polenta to the oven at 200ºC. For about 10 minutes or until the cheese melts and browns.
- Remove from the oven and serve the freshly made polenta with cheese.
