Ingredients to make Polenta with Bolognese sauce:
- 1 cup polenta
- 1 cup of Milk (240 milliliters)
- 1 cup of meat broth
- 400 grams of Bolognese sauce
- 200 grams of mozzarella cheese
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pinch of black pepper
How to make Polenta with Bolognese Sauce:
- The first step to make our recipe is to prepare the ingredients for the polenta with meat.
- Let’s prepare the polenta. To do this, in a deep pot add the cups of milk and meat broth.
- Add salt and black pepper to the pot and bring the ingredients to a boil.
- Once reaching the boiling point, add the polenta in the form of rain and lower the heat.
- Let cook over low heat for 5 minutes without stopping stirring the preparation. Then put out the fire.
- Grease a refractory and add half of the polenta to prepare a polenta base with meat and make it like a kind of lasagna.
- Add half the Bolognese sauce in the center and distribute all the ingredients very well.
- Add some grated cheese over the filling.
- Cover with more polenta on top of the Bolognese sauce, as if you were making a lasagna but with this ingredient.
- Finish adding the grated cheese on top so we can gratin in the oven. Take the polenta to the oven at 200ºC until our cheese melts.
- Serve the polenta recipe in meat sauce adding a little dried thyme on top. You can accompany it with a green salad or sautéed vegetables.
