Ingredients to make Plum Jam:

  • 5 plums
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1 small glass of water
  • 2 sheets of neutral gelatin
  • 1 tablespoon stevia

How to make plum jam:

  1. Wash and extract the bone from the plums. In this case there are five large ones, but the same recipe can be made by increasing the amounts of each item.
  2. If you want, you can also make red plum jam.
  3. Put the sheets of neutral gelatin to soak while you continue with the recipe.
  4. Cut each plum into 6pitted parts but with its skin. Put the plum pieces in a saucepan with water and the dissolved lemon juice.
  5. Leave covered over low heat for 20 minutes. Stir every 5 minutes so that the plum falls apart and the jam thickens
  6. Add a tablespoon of stevia to make a sugar-free plum jam. Drain the gelatin carefully and add it as well.
  7. Stir well, cover and cook for 8 more minutes on low heat. Don’t stop stirring.
  8. This is as far as this easy plum jam recipe comes from. Enjoy it on toast, pancakes, cookies or biscuits, they will be delicious!
