Ingredients to make Pineapple Flan:

  • 1 can of pineapple
  • 1 unit of natural creamy yogurt
  • 1 can of condensed milk of 370 g
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 jar of liquid caramel

How to make Pineapple Flan:

  1. Turn on the oven at 200 ºCso that it heats up. In a bowl put 6 well-drained pineapple slices, crush them until they are like a puree.
  2. Cover an ovenproof mold with liquid caramel. You can make the caramel at home following our liquid caramel recipe, or buy it already prepared. Booking.
  3. Put the eggs in a bowl, beat them and add the condensed milk and yogurt. Beat again until the ingredients are well mixed.
  4. Add the crushed pineapple to the mixture and crush it again. If you want to notice the pineapple bits in the flan, you can leave them like this and mix them with the rest of the flan preparation with a spoon.
  5. Take a tray a little larger than the flan mold and put the mold inside.
  6. Add the flan mixture to the mold with the caramel, add it little by little so as not to mix it with the caramel. Pour two fingers of hot water into the large tray to cook the flan in a bain-marie.
  7. Cover the mold with aluminum foil so that the surface does not burn. Put both molds in the oven and let cook for about 40-50 minutes.
  8. Tip: If you want to make a pineapple flan without an oven, you can use a pot or pan with water and prepare the flan on the stove.
  9. After this time, check the flan to see if it is curdled by poking it with a toothpick in the center. If it comes out dry, it’s done, if not, leave it a little longer. Remove the pineapple flan from the oven and let cool.
  10. When the pineapple flan is very cold, take it out of the mold carefully so that it detaches well from the walls of the mold.
  11. If you have been left with little caramel you can add a little more on top. With the remaining pineapple slices you can garnish the flan. You will be ready! Serve it cold and enjoy.
