Pickled anchovies recipe

Ingredients to make pickled anchovies:

  • 1 kilo of anchovies
  • 1 splash of vinegar
  • 1 glass of white wine
  • 1 onion
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 3 spice cloves
  • 1 pinch of black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 150 ml of olive oil
  • 1 pinch of salt

How to make pickled anchovies:

  1. Clean the fish by removing the head and guts.
  2. Season, pass through flour and fry in abundant oil.
  3. We reserve it while we make the marinade.
  4. In a saucepan, brown the whole garlic with about 5 tablespoons of oil set it aside and adds the pepper, cloves, paprika, wine and vinegar.
