Pasta is one of those dishes that saves us and solves any dinner or meal in no time. There are so many ways to prepare it that it is very difficult to get bored of pasta. There is no doubt about why it is the favorite dish of so many. On this occasion, we are going to prepare a recipe for pesto noodles, one of the most delicious and simple ways to eat noodles.

To make them, you can use any type of long pasta. You will only need a food processor or a mortar to make the sauce and very few ingredients. There are different types of pesto and later we will talk about some of them so that you can prepare the perfect recipe for you. Discover how to make pesto noodles!

Ingredients to make Pesto Noodles:

  • 360 grams of noodles
  • 60 grams of fresh basil
  • 60 milliliters of pine nuts or peeled almonds
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 100 grams of Parmesan cheese
  • 120 milliliters of extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

How to make Pesto Noodles:

  1. Add the garlic, basil, pine nuts and salt and pepper to taste in the blender or grinder. Blend until you get a lump-free mixture.
  2. Little by little, add the cheese and oil until you have your desired texture sauce.
  3. Bring plenty of water to a boil in a saucepan and, only when it has boiled, add a teaspoon of salt and oil and introduce the noodles.
  4. Cook for about 8 minutes and drain the noodles. Pour the pesto over the noodles, mix and enjoy some real pesto noodles! You can decorate by placing some pine nuts on top and a sprig of basil.
