Ingredients to make Peppers stuffed with rice and sausages:
- 3 small red bell peppers
- 3 small yellow bell peppers
- 2 turkey sausages
- 50 grams of white rice
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pinch of ground black pepper
- 1 splash of olive oil
How to make Rice and Sausage Stuffed Peppers:
- We are going to start by cooking the white rice in boiling water with a little salt. Once cooked, drain and let rest.
- Open the peppers vertically on one side and remove the seeds inside,
- Trick: Remember to wash the peppers before starting the preparation.
- Season the cooked rice with a little salt, ground black pepper and olive oil.
- While we stuff the rice peppers, we heat the oven to 230 ºC.
- Cut the sausages into sticks that fit inside the peppers. Place a piece of sausage inside each pepper.
- We carve the peppers with rice and sausages with a bamboo stick and place them in a baking dish with a drizzle of olive oil on top.
- We put the stuffed peppers in the oven at 220ºC for 15 minutes. At the end of cooking we can put them in a gratin so that they brown on top.
