Peceto recipe with cream

Ingredients to make Peceto a la crema:

  • 250 g of heavy cream or liquid cream
  • 5 kilos of peceto or beef tenderloin
  • 3 medium onions cut into quarters
  • 1 natural tomato cut into slices
  • 6 garlic cloves (peeled)
  • 1 bowl of beef broth

How to make Peceto with cream:

  1. Season the fish generously with salt and pepper and brown it in oil until it is well sealed.
  2. Drain the oil, leaving only a tablespoon of it in the pan.
  3. Add the chopped onion, the whole garlic and place the tomato slices on the peceto.
  4. Trick:Have a bowl of broth ready to add as the cooking liquid is consumed.
  5. Ten minutes before it is fully cooked, add the milk cream and let the peceto cook in the saucepan over low heat and uncovered.
  6. Since there is a nice little sauce left, the peceto with cream of milk can be accompanied with white rice, noodles or a rich mashed potatoes.
