  • 150 grams of sugar (¾ cup)
  • 1 cinnamon stick

How to make Peach in syrup:

  1. First, we wash the peaches well, peel them and cut them in half.
  2. Then, we remove the stone and leave the halves whole or cut them, depending on whether we prefer to make the peaches in syrup in more or less large pieces.
  3. Pour the water into a pot, saucepan or deep frying pan and heat it over high heat.
  4. At this point we can add half the sugar so that the syrup begins to form. When it boils, add the peaches and lower the temperature to let them cook over medium-low heat.
  5. Add the remaining sugar and cinnamon and cook the peaches in syrup for approximately 10 minutes.
  6. Regardless of whether we have chosen to cook the whole or sliced halves, it is important to turn the peaches during cooking so that they are well done and fully impregnated.
  7. After the time has elapsed, we remove the pot or pan from the heat and let the fruit rest in the syrup until it is completely cold.
  8. If we can leave it for a couple of hours, better! Then, we can only pack the peaches in homemade syrup in sterilized glass jars or serve them.
  9. As a recommendation, when tasting them, we can accompany them with whipped cream or any other type of whipped cream that we like.
  10. And to finish off the dessert, we dropped threads of chocolate ganache on top, a real delight!
