For those who don’t know the name, pat cones are a snack made of plantain, typical of several Latin American countries such as Colombia or Venezuela, for its part, avocado is one of the names by which avocado is known.

Stay and give your kitchen a Latin touch with this fabulous recipe. The best thing about it, besides being very easy to prepare, is that you can adapt it to your liking, adding more extra ingredients. A perfect appetizer for a family or friends gathering, surprise everyone with the avocado pat cones.

Ingredients to make Patacones with avocado cream:

  • 1 kilogram of green bananas
  • 3 units of Avocado or Avocado
  • 1 jet of Oil
  • 10 grams of sugar
  • 50 grams of cream cheese
  • 5 grams of Coriander
  • 1 unit of Lemon

How to make Patacones with avocado cream:

  1. Peel the bananas, taking care not to break them, and cut them into 2 or 3 equal parts.
  2. Fry in hot oil until lightly browned and reserve on absorbent paper.
  3. Then, to make the pat cones, crush the plantains evenly and fry again until golden brown.
  4. Separately, to make the avocado cream, peel it and mix the avocado pulp with the cheese, cilantro, sugar and the juice of half a lemon.
  5.  Blend all this until you get a smooth cream.
  6. Correct the seasoning with salt, lemon or pepper if you consider it necessary.
  7. To finish, spread the cream over the pat cones and decorate with lemon wedges and coriander leaves.
