Pasta with seafood in red sauce

Ingredients to make Pasta with seafood in red sauce:

  • 200 g of sausage pasta
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced into small cubes
  • 1 medium onion cut into small cubes
  • 2 sweet peppers cut into small cubes
  • 5 basil leaves finely cut into strips
  • 150 g clams without shell and washed
  • 150 g shelled mussels, washed
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 liter of pasta (Italian tomato puree)
  • pepper to taste

How to make Pasta with seafood in red sauce:

  1. In a medium saucepan place the oil and fry the onion and sweet pepper. Once wilted place the garlic until it turns white.
  2. Once the sauce is ready, add the clams and mussels and stir for a minute and a half. Once they are half cooked, add the pasta and salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Then add the basil, stir and cook over medium-low heat for about 15 minutes. Once the sauce for the seafood pasta in red sauce is ready, the salt is rectified.
  4. The pasta with seafood is served in a red sauce and optionally Parmesan cheese can be added.
