Pasta with sausage and cheese recipe

Today we are going to prepare macaroni with sausage and cheese, a super easy recipe that is delicious. Those who follow my recipes know that I always have sausages at home and I try to make original recipes with them, I like to try things that are quick, that do not involve spending a lot of time in the kitchen but that result in a decent dish for lunch.

Well, that’s how this dish was born, which is nothing more than macaroni with cheese and pepper and some sautéed sausages also with pepper, great!

You can modify this pasta with sausages and cheese recipe to your liking using the type of pasta and sausages that you like the most, there is no way that this combination looks bad so go ahead and let’s get to work.

Ingredients to make Pasta with sausages and cheese:

  1. 2 cooked sausages
  2. 80 grams of macaroni
  3. ½ tablespoon butter
  4. 40 grams of Parmesan cheese
  5. 2 pinches of freshly ground pepper
  6. 2 tablespoons pasta cooking water

How to make Pasta with Sausage and Cheese:

  • Once we have all the ingredients in the kitchen, by hand, the first thing we will do is cut the sausages into slices and sauté them in the pan with a pinch of pepper until golden brown. Book.
  • I have used large Frankfurt-type sausages, but you can use any type, ideally they should be cooked sausages that we always have at home and that we can easily get.
  • On the other hand, we cook the pasta in the traditional way, with boiling water and a pinch of salt. Cooking time is usually around 5-7 minutes, but this varies depending on the type of pasta, so to ensure it stays al dente, always check the manufacturer’s instructions on the package.
  • My idea has always been to make macaroni with Frankfurters, but if you want to use another type of short pasta, you can.
  • When the pasta is ready, drain, transfer to a bowl and mix with the butter, adding a good pinch of freshly ground pepper and a little cooking bro.
  • Next we add the Parmesan cheese, which must be powdered, and mix well until a slightly liquid paste is formed. If we see that it is too thick we can add a little more cooking water.
  • Now to finish we add the sausages and stir everything again. Taste the seasoning and add more cheese or pepper to your liking to make the pasta with sausages perfect!
  • As you can see, this pasta dish with sausages and cheese doesn’t take more than 10 minutes to prepare and the truth is that it’s spectacular! The secret touch of this recipe is undoubtedly the pepper, but you can also add a little mustard if you don’t like pepper.
