Ingredients to make Papaya, Garlic and Cheese Soup:
- 2 sachets of peeled garlic
- 4 cups of chicken broth
- 1 unit of ripe Papaya
- 6 ounces of cream cheese
- 1 handful of fresh oregano leaves
- 1 pinch of salt and pepper
How to make Papaya Garlic Cheese Soup:
- Place the garlic in a pot of already prepared broth or water and heat until it boils. When it reaches the boiling point, lower the heat and continue cooking, keeping a slight boil for an hour. If necessary, add more water or broth.
- Add the peeled and chopped papaya and continue cooking for half an hour more.
- Add the cream cheese and continue cooking until it is completely integrated. Then, puree the soup with a blender or food processor. Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Strain the Papaya Celery Cheese Soup to remove any lumps and serve hot. This recipe makes 4 large dishes or 6 smaller ones. You can decorate the dishes with oregano and add bread to stones.
