Papaya and Lettuce Salad Recipe

Papaya is a very popular fruit in most Latin American countries and used in the world of gastronomy to prepare various dishes, which can range from starters such as salads to desserts such as sweet papaya. In addition to being a delicious food, it is highly beneficial for health, as it is mainly rich in vitamins of group B, C, antioxidants and fiber. Ingredients to make Papaya and Lettuce Salad:

  • 1 papaya
  • 1 piece of lettuce
  • 2 onions
  • 1 branch of mint
  • 200 milliliters of plain yogurt
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of black pepper

How to make Papaya Lettuce Salad:

Cut the papaya in half, remove the seeds and chop it to taste. To continue with the preparation of the fresh salad, mix the pieces of fruit with the natural yogurt.

Finely chop the mint and add it to the papaya and yogurt mixture. Then add salt and pepper to taste. Separately, cut the onion into julienne strips and add it to the preparation as well.

Take a salad bowl, plate or the container you want to use to serve the papaya salad and place a bed of lettuce in the bottom. On it, add the previous mixture of fruit with yogurt and mint.
