Paella recipe with vegetables and salmon

The recipe for rice with salmon and prawns is very easy to prepare and the result is an exquisite dish that is complete and nutritious. Yes, I’m back with another rice recipe, and I’m fulfilling what I said recently about preparing rice more frequently. It seems that I have caught the “trick” and the truth is that some fabulous dishes come out. Rice is not just paella or arroz con pollo, it is another one of those very versatile ingredients that accepts almost anything and is phenomenal. In addition, it is a very nutritious food that, when combined well, results in complete dishes perfect for the whole family. Do not miss this recipe for vegetable and salmon paella, because it tastes like heaven!

Ingredients to make Paella with vegetables and salmon:

  • 1 small glass of rice per person (of wine)
  • 150 grams of salmon per person
  • 1 handful of shrimp (frozen or fresh)
  • 1 handful of frozen vegetable stew
  • ½ small onion
  • 2 glasses of fish broth for each glass of rice
  • 1 dessert spoon of turmeric or food coloring
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • olive oil

How to make Paella with vegetables and salmon:

  1. Chop the onion and brown it in a frying pan with a little olive oil to start preparing the vegetable and salmon paella sauce.
  2. Add the vegetables and sauté when the onion is tender.
  3. If you prefer, instead of using frozen stew you can chop the fresh vegetables that you want to incorporate into the recipe.
  4. Next, add the prawns, mix and let cook for a couple of minutes.
  5. Next, add the salmon cut into squares and salted to taste.
  6. Of course, do not put too much salt, since the broth also has. Mix well and leave the preparation for 1 more minute.
  7. Now, we add the rice, the dye and mix well.
  8. Finally, we cover with the fish broth and raise the heat. When it comes to a boil, lower the heat to medium, cover and leave the rice with salmon and prawns for about 12-15 minutes, depending on the type of rice you add. Whatever you put in the bag of it, I, for example, used the Basmati variety.
  9. After the time, we check that the rice is perfectly cooked, remove from the heat and serve. If the rice is not there yet, leave it a little longer and add a little water if there is no liquid left.
